Practical Shooting Applications (PSA) Courses 1 - 4: This is a three-hour block of instruction designed to be taught in a four-part series of courses. PSA 1 will start with the fundamentals of firearms, and progress to draws, reloads, and malfunction drills. PSA 2 will pick up with moving, multiple threats, and one-handed shooting. PSA 3 continues with alternate shooting positions, and use of cover. The objective of these courses is to put all skills taught thus far to the test with a “police-style” practical pistol course (PPC). Therefore, PSA 4 will focus on the course of fire. PSA 1 & 2 will be followed up with two hours on the range, prior to taking PSA 3 & 4. PSA 3 & 4 will culminate with the live-fire PPC at the range.
Cost: $200 per course, range fees included.
